Don’t Get Scroogled, Get Free Ads!

in Search Marketing

Here's some irony relating to Microsoft's Scroogled campaign. I logged into one of my GMail accounts today, which is unusual as I prefer to use Thunderbird and IMAP, and it appears that Microsoft is actually one of the advertisers buying ads from the deplorable "GMail Man":

Easy mistake to make, but this doesn't show a very coordinated campaign; if you're going to use such an aggressive tactic, then you should get your own house in order first.
